THE BEECHES CARAVAN PARK
There is a shop / Post Office, laundry room and a large children’s play area on site.
The caravans are spaciously set out in attractive landscaped grounds with car parking beside each caravan. A 5mph speed limit is in operation around the park. Caravans accessible to wheelchairs are available. Superb food and drink are available at The Bar ‘n’ Bistro at the edge of the site, as well as the Masons’ Arms just across the road. In the village is a trout farm, riding school, and numerous walks are possible in the area.

The Beeches Caravan Park is just 5 miles from the childhood home of William Wordsworth in nearby Cockermouth. We are 3.5 miles from the unspoilt Solway Coast at Allonby. It is in an ideal position for touring the Northern and Western Lake District, within easy travelling from Keswick (30 mins), Bassenthwaite Lake, Derwentwater, Loweswater, Buttermere, Ennerdale and other lakes – beautiful scenery and great walking.
